1What is the program?
Live online tuition for Cambridge International AS and A-Level — the globally respected pre-university qualification examined by Cambridge International Education.
MENTISERA delivers structured A-Level instruction in small groups (3–8 students) aligned to Cambridge syllabus assessment objectives. AS (Year 1) and full A-Level (Year 2) are both supported. Paper 5 / Alternative to Practical preparation is included for science subjects.
2Who is it for?
Students aged 16–19 in Pakistan or overseas targeting UK, US, Australian, or Pakistani university admission using Cambridge A-Level qualifications.
Ideal for students who have completed O-Level or IGCSE and require high-quality structured instruction. Also suitable for students improving specific A-Level subject grades before UCAS deadlines.
3What will learners study?
Cambridge A-Level syllabi including Mathematics (9709), Physics (9702), Chemistry (9701), Biology (9700), Computer Science (9618), Economics (9708), Business (9609), Psychology (9990), and English Language (9093).
Each subject follows the Cambridge published syllabus with explicit mapping to assessment objectives. Paper 5 (planning and analysis for sciences) receives dedicated weekly practice. Students targeting UCAS also receive guidance on personal statement academic content.
4What skills will they develop?
University-level analytical writing, quantitative problem solving, Paper 5 scientific reasoning, and extended essay examination technique.
A-Level students develop the ability to tackle multi-part structured questions, extended-response analytical essays, and data/graph interpretation — the core skills assessed across Cambridge A-Level papers.
5How long does it take?
AS: 10 months (Year 1). Full A-Level: 20 months over 2 years. 6-month intensive exam-prep also available.
Year 1 (AS): Covers AS content and Paper 1/2 preparation. Year 2 (A2): Completes the full A-Level with Paper 3/4/5. Students may sit AS as standalone or as part of a full A-Level.
6Is it online or in person?
Live small-group online classes with digital whiteboard, recorded replays, ILP, and LMS-based assessment.
Sessions are held via interactive video with shared digital whiteboard. All classes are recorded and accessible for 7 days. Assignments submitted through the student portal; mock papers returned within 7 days.
7What does it cost?
PKR 35,000 per month for the full A-Level program; PKR 17,000 per month for each individual subject.
The fixed monthly full-program package covers administrator-configured included subjects. Individual subjects cost PKR 17,000 per month. Cambridge examination fees are paid separately to an approved centre.
8Are there prerequisites?
5 O-Level / IGCSE passes (C or above) or Matric/SSC with IBCC equivalence. Relevant subject background for science/maths tracks.
For Maths A-Level: O-Level Maths grade B or above recommended. For sciences: relevant O-Level science at grade B or above. Bridging orientation available for Matric/FSc students.
9What certificate is awarded?
MENTISERA A-Level Tuition Report. Official Cambridge AS/A-Level certificate issued by Cambridge International Education after board examinations.
Official AS and A-Level grades — used for UCAS applications, US college admissions, and Pakistani IBCC equivalence — are issued exclusively by Cambridge International Education via approved examination centres.

Are Cambridge A-Levels accepted by Pakistani universities?▾
Yes. Cambridge A-Level results are accepted by LUMS, NUST, FAST, GIKI, AKU, and other leading Pakistani HEIs. IBCC issues an equivalence certificate converting your A-Level grades to intermediate marks.
Can I take AS-Level only without completing the full A-Level?▾
Yes. Cambridge AS is a standalone qualification. It carries half the total weight of an A-Level and is recognised independently by many universities. You may also complete A2 in a subsequent year to achieve the full A-Level.
Does MENTISERA prepare students for UCAS applications?▾
Premium-tier students receive academic content guidance for their UCAS personal statement. We do not replace professional university counsellors but our subject teachers advise on how to present A-Level academic achievements.
What is Paper 5 and how is it taught?▾
Paper 5 (Planning, Analysis and Evaluation) tests practical experimental skills without a laboratory. MENTISERA dedicates weekly structured sessions to Paper 5 question types, graph analysis, and written experimental methodology.
How is A-Level different from FSc?▾
Cambridge A-Level is an internationally benchmarked qualification with more analytical depth and globally portable credentials. FSc/HSSC is the Pakistani national qualification with higher weight in local merit lists. Students with specific UK/overseas university goals are best served by A-Level; those targeting Pakistani public universities through MDCAT/ECAT may benefit more from FSc.
Examination registration is handled separately through an approved Cambridge International examination centre. External exam fees are not included in MENTISERA tuition.
